About this library
The Logos and Cosmos Initiative (LCI) equips young Christian academics to lead projects in their universities that spark curiosity and wonder about God’s Word and God’s world, and about theology and the sciences. This library contains resources generated through LCI projects – training manuals, Bible study guides, conference presentation slides, video testimonials, and video interviews.
Each resource was created by an LCI Catalyst thinking of a specific part of God’s vast and varied Cosmos. They don’t necessarily reflect the views of IFES or the John Templeton Foundation, which generously supported the LCI during its inaugural phase (2021-25). Neither will each aspect of every resource be relevant to every context. But we hope that they all will inspire you to Engage the University by running projects and creating resources tailor-fit to your own context.
Using the library
You can use the search box to filter by author, title, language, country of origin, discipline of study, or resource type.
The resources were originally written in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or English, but many have also been translated. All of the original, untranslated resources can be downloaded on this page, but the subtitled videos can only be streamed on YouTube. (You may need to click on the CC button at the bottom right of the Youtube video to turn on the subtitles.) If you want to find a video (or another resource) in its original language and you can’t see that resource listed, please switch the language of this page to that language (ENGLISH, ESPAÑOL, or FRANÇAIS) by clicking at the top right.
In many cases, we have included the author’s contact information so you can reach out to them for advice or inspiration.
About LCI training
In its inaugural phase (2021-2025), the IFES Logos and Cosmos Initiative equipped almost 100 thought leaders in 29 countries across Francophone Africa and Latin America, expanding from year to year. This flipbook commemmorates what Catalysts achieved. In the current phase, the LCI is reaching beyond those two regions.
