Global: World Student Day 2026
This week, thousands will unite across the globe to pray for students and God’s work among them: World Student Day is on Thursday 8 October.
A key part of the event is interceding for those who’ve shared prayer needs for their campuses. Their requests, presented as Prayer Cards, offer a crisp, local focus to our times of wide-ranging global prayer.
In this special edition of Prayerline, we share five cards that illustrate the need to pray for student witness:
Pray for students starting new groups:
Pray for students in difficult circumstances:
Pray for students seizing missional opportunities:
Pray for students facing ministry challenges:
Pray for students engaging with campus culture:
And please pray for World Student Day:
Pray
- Give thanks for the thousands who have already signed up to pray and ask that they may know the Lord’s presence and leading as they pray for student ministry worldwide.
- Pray that students and staff across our 163 national movements will be encouraged and strengthened by this act of fellowship. May those who have shared requests see God give tangible answers.
- Pray that World Student Day will be an opportunity for a new generation of students and supporters to discover the joy of global fellowship in the gospel.
