Pray for a new media initiative from IFES

Last week, IFES launched The Open Project – a new initiative to create compelling visual content and use today’s digital tools to open up the Bible to the student generation.

The first film is being released in twelve small segments leading up to Easter Sunday on 1 April, with a short, introductory Bible study to go with each one. The film takes twelve ordinary words to tell important bits of the Bible story and will be published across social media.

  • The film segments will connect with some more than others. Please pray the Lord would use the segments to invite students into his great story.

  • Pray for students in different IFES movements and national contexts to see this and catch the vision of using it to open up conversations and the Bible with their friends.

  • Pray the Bible studies would be well used, and will help lead students to know and trust in Jesus.

  • Pray that this project would inspire students to get creative when sharing the gospel.
