Today’s students need Christ’s brighter vision for life.
Many in this generation are dissatisfied with superficial, materialistic social media posts. They’re disillusioned by scandals among politicians, religious leaders, and celebrities. They’re drowning in a digital sea of information and misinformation.
They’re longing for real spirituality that’s authentically good.
You know a Redeemer who offers it. You know the solid hope and deep change that Christ’s grace and power can bring – to every part of us, to every part of life.
So, will you help brighten the shine of student witness? Will you equip students, young graduates, and staff to follow Jesus in all things and to winsomely engage with all aspects of campus life?

THE DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE
Global Giving Day is an annual 48-hour event spanning the entire globe. Students, staff, and supporters like you join in the joy of giving to God’s work on campuses around the world.
It’s not just about raising money. It’s an act of fellowship, as Annette Arulrajah, IFES Associate General Secretary, explains:
“We taste the sweet bond of the gospel as we show sacrificial generosity to each other. I see Global Giving Day as a beacon that invites us up the pathway of global fellowship. It beckons us to learn from each other’s stories and stand together in solidarity.”
Praise God! Last year, hundreds around the world united in generosity for Global Giving Day 2025: The Work of His Hands.
Your vison and generosity has helped fund over 25 initiatives across the world, including:
A mentorship program for young General Secretaries in Africa
Graduate ministry in Latin America and South Asia
A regional conference for student leaders in Eurasia
One delegate testified:
“At this conference I left my former identity that was deep inside of me. I used to have the feeling of guilt. In the past I was constantly offended and frustrated. I gave it all to God and I am working on my positive development.”

You can already give to Global Giving Day 2026!
Option 1:
Option 2: Give via bank transfer.
If you’d prefer to give via bank transfer, either in-person at your bank or using online banking, please email supporter.relations@ifesworld.org to request instructions. Please specify for which currency account and in which language you would like the instructions (English, French, or Spanish).
You can make a transfer in a different currency but please be advised that your bank may charge a fee for exchanging the currency, either at the point of transfer or from the amount sent.
Option 3: Give via regions and national movements.
If you are unable to use our online giving platform, several IFES regions offer different giving methods that you can use instead. In all cases, make sure that you note the gift is for Global Giving Day 2025!
Many other national movements can also receive donations on behalf of IFES. Please contact your national movement to find out if this is an option. When you give to your national movement, please also drop us an email at supporter.relations@ifesworld.org so we can say ‘thank you!’

Experience shows that people give when they know the person who’s asking. Individuals who have run personalised versions of the Global Giving Day campaign have proved highly effective in raising support.

Organising Events
In some cultures, sponsored challenges, auctions, sales, and entry-fee events are an effective way of getting others involved in giving. They are often even more engaging when they’re related to the theme of the appeal. This year, how could you use the theme of radiant light?
If you’re planning to organise an event as a national movement, why not schedule it in advance of 16 April 2026? Then, you can transfer the funds you’ve raised in time for Global Giving Day. Get in touch with finance@ifesworld.org to discuss how and when to make the transfer.
