Give to World Assembly
Help get 200 scholarship participants to World Assembly
Aida loves painting, playing piano and going on bike rides by the sea. She’s only 23, but has big dreams. She wants to see the gospel reach students who’ve never heard the name of Jesus before.
Until the age of seven, Aida lived in Equatorial Guinea with her missionary parents. Her friends called her mwana ntang (‘white girl’) and taught her to play with a stick and tyre in the bush. The country and its people have been on her heart ever since.
Aida has recently graduated from university in Barcelona, Spain and is now preparing to return to Equatorial Guinea to help pioneer a student movement. She wants the gospel to bear fruit amongst students there.
She’s not going on her own – the IFES movement in Spain is supporting her, but she also needs training, contacts and encouragement from others doing the same thing. That’s why IFES has awarded her a scholarship to go to World Assembly in July this year.
World Assembly will be a unique opportunity for her to meet believers from all over the world engaged in similar work amongst students. The connections she makes and what she learns will make a huge impact on her pioneering work in Equatorial Guinea. And she has so much to bring to bless the students and staff she will meet there.
We’ve identified over 200 people like Aida who need scholarships to attend this global gathering. Could you give today to help fund these scholarships?
IFES has only ever grown when people take bold steps to go, supported by brothers and sisters who give and pray for them. Whatever you can give today will help get a fellow believer to World Assembly and make a global impact for the gospel.
We are in this mission together.
