Syed grew up in a devout Muslim family in the Middle East. He went to study as an international student in Eurasia. He first heard about Jesus when he started going along to a Bible study, run by the local IFES movement.
At IFES, we believe that students in every university in the world should be given the opportunity to explore the gospel claims. We want to enable national movements to equip their students to share who Jesus is with their friends.
In the country where Syed met Christ, IFES has supported the translation of Uncover Mark, a Bible study resource for seekers. Breaking New Ground grants have also enabled the IFES movement to pioneer new groups, one of which welcomed Syed and other international students.
With your help, we can see more students like Syed come to know who Jesus is.
We are in this mission together.
Will you help us reach this generation of students?
A new regular gift to the IFES core mission fund will support our vision of seeing students built into communities of disciples, transformed by the gospel and impacting the university, the church and society for the glory of Christ.
Here are some examples of how your money can make a difference:
$5 per month could help pioneering student ministry in places like Niger, by funding regular training seminars for student leaders.
$12 per month could help two staff support Christian students in leading evangelistic Bible studies.
$25 per month could pay for a place at a regional training event for a student like Caroline.
