WHAT HAPPENS AT WORLD ASSEMBLY?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

THE MAIN PROGRAM (3-10 JULY)<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

World Assembly is a unique gathering of our global fellowship, including: students, graduates, supporters, staff, board members and other guests. Together we will share how God is at work in our ministry, engage with Scripture, learn from each other, make decisions about the future and be re-envisioned for what\u2019s next. Expect plenty of moments through the week to hear best practice, share stories and meet together in small groups.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

Our daily Scripture Engagement will focus on passages from Luke\u2019s Gospel and the book of Acts, led by guest speakers as well as students and staff from around IFES. We expect to affiliate new national movements and they will each have an opportunity to share their story during the week. Evening sessions will include an evening hosted by Africa and a focus on IFES pioneering work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

World Assembly is also an important moment to make decisions together. There will be workshops focussed on discussing the future vision of IFES as well as General Committee sessions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

SEMINARS<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

There are 70 seminar options to choose from at World Assembly. Please take time to read through the options and go to your registration page to select your seminar choices. Those attending the Track for Faculty and Research Students are also able to select seminars to attend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

EXCURSIONS <\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

On Monday 8 July there will be an opportunity to go offsite to visit nearby attractions, explore South African history or serve the local community. The excursions will take place from 11:00-18:00. For some excursion options we ask for a contribution to cover extra costs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Alternatively, you can stay onsite and enjoy the sports and leisure facilities at the Klein-Kariba and Forever resorts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
