Michelle, a staff-worker for TCS, the IFES movement in Thailand, explained more:<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW241915523 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> \u201cStudents today struggle with broken families, relationships, academic stress and isolation.&nbsp;We haven\u2019t seen much change in the spiritual openness of students.&nbsp;Today, it&#8217;s easier for a Thai student who is curious about Christianity to go on the internet and explore the&nbsp;Christian faith.&nbsp;But&nbsp;the easier&nbsp;internet&nbsp;access also means it&#8217;s easier for them to get wrong information (sometimes from cults). Many Thai students today are more open to listening to a gospel presentation, but&nbsp;they&nbsp;are not open to taking the next step. Many still think that to be Thai is to be Buddhist, and&nbsp;they&nbsp;identify&nbsp;Christianity as a Western religion.&nbsp; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In this context,&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">evangelism is essential, but far from easy<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Next month 100 students will attend the TCS national camp. Pray&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">that through&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">it,&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">students would be equipped to&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">share Jesus with their friends<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;with confidence,&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">pastoral sensitivity and praye<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">fulness.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Pray with us for&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the work of TCS Thailand:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Pray for&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Christian<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;students to put God first in their lives rather than get<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ting<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;swept away by&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">pursuing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;success<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and becom<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;too busy for God.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559685&quot;:720,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Pray that <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">many&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Thai students&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">this year&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">would&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">come to see that Jesus alone offers&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the love, identity, peace and wholeness they need<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, and would put their faith in Him.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>TCS will be hosting the East Asia Regional Conference in July 2020 for 700 delegates.
