She\u2019s only 23, but has big dreams. She wants to see the gospel reach students who\u2019ve never heard the name of Jesus before.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until the age of seven, Aida lived in Equatorial Guinea with\nher missionary parents. Her friends called her <em>mwana ntang<\/em> (\u2018white girl\u2019) and taught her to play with a stick and\ntyre in the bush. The country and its people have been on her heart ever since.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aida\nhas recently graduated from university in Barcelona, Spain and is now preparing\nto return to Equatorial Guinea to help pioneer a student movement. She wants\nthe gospel to bear fruit amongst students there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\u2019s\nnot going on her own \u2013 the IFES movement in Spain is supporting her, but she\nalso needs training, contacts and encouragement from others doing the same\nthing. That\u2019s why IFES has awarded her a scholarship to go to <em>World Assembly<\/em> in July this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">World\nAssembly will be a unique opportunity for her to meet believers from all over\nthe world engaged in similar work amongst students. The connections she makes\nand what she learns will make a huge impact on her pioneering work in\nEquatorial Guinea. And she has so much to bring to bless the students and staff\nshe will meet there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve identified over 200 people like Aida who need scholarships to attend this global gathering.
