In 2008 and 2009, two groups of staff and students from various countries in the Caribbean travelled to Dominica to re-pioneer the movement there, sharing their passion for IFES ministry and inspiring Christian students to establish groups in their schools. Thanks to these visits, ISCCF is now alive and growing! The interest and commitment of a core of board members and students gives strength to the movement.

Jermainia Didier, National Coordinator of the movement, is also a full-time lecturer at the teacher’s college. ‘I got saved as a youth and that kept me from being involved in negative things. Therefore I see myself as someone who can help orient young people towards the right path. I am excited because I know that God is happy about that.
‘An event from the history of our movement that inspires me today is one of our camps in the 1980’s where students met with God in a wonderful way. I think of Ecclesiastes 12:1 – “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” – and realize that the best time to serve God is while one is young. So helping students get to know God is a passion of mine.’
- for students to commit their way totally to the Lord and seek direction from him;
- for God to raise up more committed sponsors to encourage and equip the student groups.
