Salary:  £32,000 – 36,000 plus pension

We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic HR professional to join our International Services team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful and growing People and Culture team, which aims to build strong teams that provide fruitful ministry. You will be instrumental in fulfilling this vision.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will play a key role in shaping and managing the HR team (HR Partner and HR Project Manager). You will lead the HR team in effective day to day HR operations, overseeing the team’s provision of quality HR services to IFES staff and volunteers around the world. You will have both operational and strategic responsibilities, helping us plan and manage important functions such as recruitment, development, and reward.

You will have a warm and professional demeanour, able to build rapport and trust with colleagues. You will be pastorally sensitive, able to appropriately hand difficult and sensitive situations. You should have strong understanding of HR policies and practice, with a minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in the charitable sector. You will be a CIPD Associate Member with a Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).

As this is a role in an international organisation, you will have significant experience in cross-cultural contexts, and enjoy working with a diverse team and range of partners.
